Quick Text Selection Translation ​

Although translating using select text -> hotkey is very convenient, some users prefer a more efficient method.

Therefore, Saladict also supports quick text selection translation, simplifying the operation to select text -> quick button translation, which is more efficient.

SnipDo (Windows) ​

  1. Download and install SnipDo from Microsoft Store.
  2. Download Saladict's SnipDo extension (Saladict.pbar) from Release
  3. Double-click the downloaded extension file to complete installation.
  4. Select text, and you'll see the SnipDo toolbar pop up. Click the translate button to translate.

PopClip (MacOS) ​

  1. Download and install PopClip from Official Website
  • The software is paid. Users in China can download the free version from Mac App Software Share. If you can afford it, please support the official version.
  1. Download Saladict's PopClip extension (Saladict.popclipextz) from Release
  2. Double-click the downloaded extension file to complete installation.
  3. Enable the Saladict extension in PopClip's extensions. Select text, and you can click the icon to translate.

Starry (Linux) ​

Starry is still in development, so you can only compile it manually.
